Reviews
An extremely well written story about the injustices and complexity of society today. Mr. Estrada has created a character to root for, a cop to appreciate. It is fast paced and very entertaining. Each character is deeply developed and through darkness and despair, hope and humanity emerge.
Sue KAn engaging look into society today
Those That Fear Us by Anthony Estrada is storytelling that is gripping, intense and thoughtful. He engages the reader through vivid descriptions of the lives of well-developed characters from whom we learn about the intersectionality of issues of racism, immigration, interpersonal and community violence. This book has a greater purpose, as the stories promote greater understanding, compassion, and humanity. The book provides a study of complex characters who society would judge as flawed, but we find that they all share the same underlying need for love and acceptance. This book forces the reader to open their eyes and look at others from a different, more human perspective.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a compelling read.

A masterclass on the plight of an uncontaminated police protagonist swimming in a sea of dirty cops, corrupt officials, and criminals, Anthony Estrada’s captivating talent is immediately present with his first novel. An instant hit. I can’t wait to read his next book. Instant hit.
